The much anticipated Cheapest Android tablet is for sale. Online Booking and Pre-booking has been started by the DataWind the Canadian company who is manufacturing Aakash. The booking is of two type i.e online booking and pre booking for student and UbiSlate 7 the upgraded version respectively.
The Ubislate which is the commercial tablet is tagged with price of Rs 2999 and the price for the student version is Rs 2500 and will be delivered in 7 days.
The Ubislate Tablet is powered by Android 2.3 with a resistive touchscreen, Cortex A8-700 MHz processor, 256 MB Ram, HD video graphic accelerator with 2 Gb internal memory.
Others: USB port(Std), 7 inch display (800x480)p, 3.5 mm audio jack, WiFi and GPRS.
The tablet will be available in retails by end of january 12.
